El Burro serves imaginative and authentic Mexican cuisine in a designer home-style setting. They have a big list of craft beer and tequila. Ask for their dedicated vegan menu consisting of starters, mains and salads.

Please note: Their Green Point and Newlands branches offer a dedicated vegan menu, but their Taqueria branch in Tamboerskloof has the following vegan options available in single servings only:
– Vegan Chilli Rellenos
– Cauliflower & Chickpea Taco
– Quinoa Salad: Black beans, sweet corn, red and yellow peppers, avocado, cucumber, red onion with a zesty coriander and lime dressing
– Vegan Taco: Pickled ginger, soy veganaise, carrots, spinach, tenderstem brocoli, chilli toasted almonds and fresh avocado served on a soft corn tortilla
